My newfound man-love for Phil X made me do it.

Man, I cannot believe the bang for buck with this guitar. I thought the Charvel So Cal had a big bang but this thing plays amazing. Can't wait to plug it in... think I'll use it for a little Ecstasy Blue pedal and JMP video.

It's got 10's on it and historically speaking, I'll probably get tired of them quickly and drop 9's, but time will tell.

So far, I'm loving this thing.

I liked one I played at the GC in Tulsa a couple weeks ago, though after playing a few seconds I noticed further up the neck it appeared someone either spilled a bit of milkshake on the neck -- or perhaps something else. A few days ago I saw the guitar again and that it still wasn't cleaned up. :D

I like the top on the one you got and am glad to hear it sounds like a good deal even if it may work out better with 9's in the long run. I recently tried a hybrid pack of skinny tops/fat bottoms and got used to it pretty quickly and still like it so far. 8)

Ewwww! :)

Yeah, these 10s are going into the trash quick, I can tell already. The EMGs will likely go too, but not right away. Gotta say, I loved the P90 tones Phil was getting at the show a couple weeks back.

Are you thinking about trying a 'bucker-sized p90 lke the Duncan Phat Cat? If they actually sound like p90's that might be pretty cool. 8)

Great looking guitar Bob! Looking forward to that video.

Yep, that's exactly what I'm thinking. Since I'm a Phil fanboi I'm thinking about these.

Thanks bud!

I know this isn't anything special compared to what most of the guys here buy, but I'm digging it.

Love my Viper. I put 11's on it and it sounds amazing.

The PX-100 is bad ass. I got one in my LTD Phoenix. Great harmonics and more bark than a Phat Cat.

Sweet fancy Moses! I could only bend up one cent with 11s, although I'll bet that fat bottom side sounds great.

Thanks man, this is exactly the input I was hoping for. Happen to have anything you've recorded with it to share? Would love to hear it.

Congratz Bob... I love ESPs.

That's a fine, mean, chunky looking instrument. Seriously, nicely done

Cool, same guitar, different year I believe. Korean?
You might want to try some 11's on it, they actually feel really nice on the 24.75 scale. I've always used 11-49's on my 301.

Nice looking guitar Bob congrats.

Body looks thicker than I would have assumed.
