Stay away from Padauk. It's brittle. We used to get repair jobs on the Padauk N4's: snapped headstocks/necks, cracked bodies, cracked neck joints.

Oh, and it's heavy as shit.

Ive never noticed that the fretboard hangs over like that. And Ive picked those up multiple times. Weird.
