This guitar is SICK! I got it Monday, and did a set up on it, with a couple tweaks during the week. It plays beautifully! Chunky '50's neck, full thickness, and I'd guess around 10lbs. I changed the stock amber tophat knobs to gold speed knobs, and am putting Gotoh Magnum locking tuners on it tonight. It needs nothing else, as it's loaded from the factory...

Seymour Duncan JB/'59 with cool tap, Tonepros bridge and tailpiece, Grover strap locks, and bone nut. Even came with ESP hardshell case. Guitar is impeccable quality, and quite honestly, satisfies my need for an LP. This thing blows away the last few I've had! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

I always dug the specs on these but have never gotten the chance to play one. Congrats, looks great

I actually owned one before, as well as the Silverburst! I'll pick upon another Silverbust if I find one!

that SilverBurst is a good looking guitar, how chunky are the necks on these?

I'd say much like a Les Paul Traditional, with more of a U, and a touch flatter. It's in the 50's camp, for sure. Not obtrusive by any means, but there's some beef.

Here's the SB I sold about 4 years ago.

Nice! I totally dig it. I don't need more pauls though.

Does it have a Gibson-esque feel or more of a unique spin?

Feels like a LP, for sure. I put Gotoh Magnum locking tuners on it yesterday. Came with bone nut, Tonepros bridge/tailpiece, Duncan JB/'59 with coil tap, Grover strap locks, and ESP fitted case. Like a sore dick, you can't beat it!
