Well, I traded a guitar and bought a couple others. I am pretty stoked. I got an Ibanez JBM100 and it had been a while since I played an Ibanez and ceramic pickups. Within a day I got used to it and now I really dig it. The pickups sound really fat. They feel a bit stiffer than I usually like, but they sound good, so its cool. I also like that it just says Titan instead of a name and a signature on it. The neck is pretty flat and really easy to play, I forgot the radius but it is around 17 to 20, so a big radius.

I have been wanting a Strat for a while now, all my guitars are dual humbuckers models. So, I started researching Strats and other guitar makers Strat style models. I ended up reading a lot on Tokai. So, I found that Tokai Les Paul and Strat style models between 79 and 84 are supposed to be amazing if you get the higher end models. I searched hard and long and after months, a Tokai Goldstar st60 popped up on my local Craigslist. This thing is in amazing condition. There is one ding on the inner edge of the body, but that's it. The frets are basically new, the neck is spotless, and the grey bottom pickups that I read so much about actually sound great. I thought I might have to replace the pickups but they sound really good, definitely keepers. I guess Tokai wasn't the best at keeping records, so it is hard to figure out exactly what you have. But, the guy I got it from is a Japanese guitar nut, her has a ton of them, keeps them in great shape, and only gets the best examples he can find. The st60 I got has a 2 piece ash body, one piece maple neck and is basically a replica of a 57 Stratocaster. It sounds and plays great, pretty effortless player. The one thing I am having a little trouble with is getting used to a smaller neck radius. Most of my other guitars have a bigger radius, so this feels quite different. It is definitely a beautiful guitar though, and the craftsmanship is as good as anything out there. So, I am still on the fence about this. I am considering selling/trading it for another strat type guitar with a little bigger neck radius. I will see over the next couple weeks. But man, its a beautiful guitar, it can definitely hang with just about anything Fender is making right now. I got a good deal on it as well, I found a couple others online that were the same year. model and very similar in color and they were $600 to $800 MORE than I ended up getting mine for, so I got lucky.

Last but not least, I have a Suhr Classic T Pro on the way, it was supposed to be here on Monday, but FedEx changed it from Monday until Tuesday halfway through the day on Monday, then yesterday around noon, it was changed from arriving by end of day yesterday until the end of the day today!! I guess it must be the holiday rush. I am excited to give this a try. The demos I have heard sound beautiful, and found Mateus Asato doing a demo that sounds great, and he is playing though a Bogner 20th Shiva that just sounds amazing. the T I have arriving today is like the one he is playing but mine has a rosewood fretboard. I am fired up to play it!! This is the demo I saw:
