I don't even think Crosby is the best player on his own team.

That's because you don't get to watch him play 82 games a year. ;)

I'm glad, I fucking hate the Penguins!

You can post those pictures all you want. Sid and the Pens are up 3 games to 2 right now. ;)

What did Sid do last night? Didn't see the stats.

Won the game. The only stat that matters.

+1

Records

* Pittsburgh Penguins' franchise record for assists in a season by a rookie (63)
* Pittsburgh Penguins' franchise record for points in a season by a rookie (102)
* First rookie to record 100 points and 100 penalty minutes in a season
* Youngest player in NHL history to record 100 points in a season
* Youngest player in NHL history to record 200 career points (19 years and 207 days)
* Youngest player in NHL history to have 2 consecutive 100 point seasons.
* Youngest player to be voted to the NHL All-Star Game
* Youngest player in NHL history to win the Art Ross Trophy
* Youngest player in NHL history to win the Lester B. Pearson Award
* Youngest player in NHL history to be named to the First All-Star Team
* Youngest player in NHL history to be named a full team captain

All that stuff ain't bad either for a guy who has been in the league for 4 years. :)

How many Cups? Until he gets his name on the cup all the above really doesnt matter in the grand scheme of things :)

Obviously none yet, but he's so young and already has lots of playoff and cup experience. And he's got a solid 15+ years left in the tank to achieve that goal. Hopefully he and the Pens can do it this year.

I'll tell you who has really stepped up is Fedetanko. He's playing very well.

You accuse Crosby of diving? You clearly didn't see the world juniors where Ovechkin won Russia the gold by diving like a little bitch.

He's a great player and just needs to mature a bit. Other than his ass shots from behind and not showing enough respect for other players he'll be fine. Hell he's just a kid and kids say and do stupid shit sometimes :) I think losing last years finals and having veterans like Billy G around will only make him that much better going forward....I dont think it wil be this year tho

To be expected from a guy who scored both goals in Tampa's 2-1 game 7 Stanley Cup Finals victory over Calgary.

How does he not show respect for other players? I've never heard Sid disrespect anyone.

Crosby is a great player and really good for the game of hockey. But diving doesn't happen as often as it's being said it does here. Penalties happen easy enough with the new rules, players don't need to sell a call anymore. This isn't soccer. The refs will call diving as well and I've seen it caught and called. Players don't want that image, cause it stains them for life. Crosbys "youngest" records are impressive and all, but he did enter the league right at the age of 18. Not many players do that, so that gave him a bit of an edge for those records. I do think Jonathan Toews recently became the youngest team captain though. A good ole hometown Winnipeg boy

sid just tortures philly, especially in their own building, and has his whole career
ovie's hit was illegal - no knee to knee hits - and any other player would have gotten suspended :gethim:
