Nice Atlanta Amp Selection at my Fav, Including IIC+

Once again Atlanta Discount music had the goods today. Went in to pick up a refret and noticed they had a IIC+ reissue, so had to try it when checking out my guitar. They also had a SLO100/30 and Astro?, Uber Ultra, Savage 120, Snorkler, BE50 deluxe, JEL20 and 50 and a nice DR103 reissue.
Getting to try the IIC+ was nice. Ironically with my LP special my favorite sound from the short time I played it was a rock tone from maxing the gain on the “clean” setting and using a little GEQ to fill it out. My favorite with the P-90’s of the ones I tried was the Snorkler. Once again the Blue setting with the gain maxed was a perfect hard rock tone with the Special.
It would have been inhumane for me to turn up the Hiwatt but you could just tell how badly it wanted me to . Love this store. Some of the others I’d tried before and had already discarded as something for me.

I love that store, it’s good people. I support them every chance I get. I’ve probably sold 4 amps and 5 guitars in there on consignment. They always have some cool gear in there. I need to make a swing by there too.

Oh and they also had a great sounding T-Verb head for 1600 but it was a little rough cosmetically.

Just a lunchbox Orange. So nothing to make me a big spender
