Nice, Tight, Sweet, Fat Bottom

Hehe, not what u were thinkin? Well, I finally got the Vht fat bottom. Been lookin to try one for some time. Thus far I have not been a fan of Eminence speakers but, this cab with the P50e's sounds incredible. I am a V30 fan due to sub use (or abuse), really like the mids and highs of the V. I was amazed how good the fat bottom cab sounds with my Avenger. Very tight and focused, not stale, nice breakup. It sucks, my Ultra Lead is out getting biased. I'm sure it is going to sound fantastic with the Vht.

Thanks Rich. Hell no, the Mesa is stayin for now. All 3 of my cabs sound killer with the subs. It's hard to describe, the subs can do no wrong, in my book.

Any chance for some properly recorded clips? I dont care anything about vids, I would much rather hear things properly I'm sure a camera mike would be an EPIC fail on that system

Hehe. yeah, I have been gasin for a while too. I was not expecting much, very surprised. Actually, I think vids turn out ok. I'm no expert though. Here is one I did with a camera mic, Not a proper clip but ok I guess. I will try at some point to do a proper clip.

your UL will kill thru that cab....VHT/FRYETTE are the only amps I've run across that almost depend on the counterpart cab to give you their best.

1. VHT fat bottom 4x12
2. Framus Cobra 4x12
3. Lopo 3x12
4. Emperor 4x12

They always sound quick and tight, but warm AND bright. There's nothing else quite like them

I run:

Bogner Fish - TC 2290 - VHT 2150

or

Egnater M4 - TC 2290 - Rivera Hammer 120

Emperor, rear-loaded. Loud, warm, tight, just bright enough. perfect.

They sound great rear-loaded.

I've found I don't really like Front-loaded cabs, in general. They really are brighter and more in your face.
