Been really diggin their latest album ALOT. The writer has a great style of combining a prog rock meets movie soundtrack to his songs. I think this latest album and the one with Dark Chest of Wonders, are both amazing.

The guitarist seems to love to shred with a very 80s playing style. Tone sounds like he could be playing thru a Diezel. Too bad they keep firing their singers

I dig this band. A friend of mine kinda forced them on me and I was not really into it at first, but they grew on me. The singer thing is strange, but we all known how LSD goes......it never ends well!

Mesas. Sometimes Engls. Possibly something else in the studio but the live recordings sound a lot like the studio cuts.

If they hire Floor as the new singer, they will be monstrous!
Band is fun to work with and love to play

Is that going to be the next singer?

What do you mean 'fun to work with'?

Mesa Dual Rectos thru Marshall 4X12s. No idea on speakers. I haven't seen Emppu using Engls.

They need to get back with Tarja.

I have no knowledge if Floor is permanent, but she is an amazing talent. Elise Ryd was also a great fill-in when all that went down.
I've worked with them twice and Marco's solo band once at Progpwer USA. Hell they did a 2 night stand in Atlanta to start off this tour. Cool peeps

I think Emppu used Laney VH100R up until Century Child or Once, I'm not a 100% sure though of the timeframe. I played a gig with them abt 12 years ago before Marco joined them and I remember Emppu's rig was fairly a simple one with the VH100R as it's heart.

Man you've worked with Tarot?! That's about the coolest thing I know. Being the pioneers of anything hard rock or metal related here in Finland they were one of my first idols ever since "The Spell of Iron" was released back in 1986 (I was a tender 13 year old then :D). They've certainly had their share of bad luck and bad karma over the years! One of my closest childhood friends does all their graphics & gets to meet Marco every now and then (how jealous can one get over a matter like that   ?!).

Come to think of it he's friends with Tuomas and Jukka from Nightwish too. Has Jukka's touring drum kit from 2004 in his garage where he plays to unwind.

Sorry about the slight off topic!
