Anyone try one? If so what are your thoughts? There's a little place down the street from me that's selling a few and they've caught my interest.

They are absolutely TOP NOTCH. Excellent craftsmanship and quality. I owned a Redwood Dolphin and an Orca. THe Orca made rounds here and got into the hands of around a dozen or so players, all of which thought it was the best guitar they had ever played. I would still own it except that I needed some cash and basically put up ALL my guitars for sale except my one custom built one and the Orca was the absolute first one scooped up.

THey are very pricey, but worth every dime if you can afford the investment.

Love mine

One shop in town used to carry them, the couple I played were killer but stoopid expensive.

Yeah, the trip across the Atlantic makes stuff very expensive. Most US amps and guitars are crazy expensive here :(

3500$ or so for a Dual Recto, bought new. (MSRP)
2200$ for a regular US Strat...

And 4900$ for a bolt-on Dolphin II...

Yeah...I asked how much they wanted for it today and just put the damn thing back without playing a note. I can't justify that much for a guitar no matter how good it is.
