I have a isp decimator g pedal and am figuring out if i truly need it or not.
When playing in a smaller room it seems to be necessary to kill the squeal when using higher gain on my be100. When i play in a larger room it doesnt seem to squeal and may not be needed.

The isp has to be set with a higher level on the knob to kill the squeal which also cuts sustain and chops some tone.
If anyone has suggestions i would like to hear them...probably need to play in larger rooms and or cut the gain back in smaller rooms.

I have the same experience, but I would never take them off my pedalboard (yes, I have 2, one for each amp when I run 2 amps live). I would turn down the threshold and use just enough to kill the noise, so it wouldn't alter the tone too much. that's the only thing you can do really, other than ditching it completely.
I have mine at 11 oclock last night at a real loud gig, with the gain a little over 12 oclock on my EVH, and I had no problem with noise or squeal. I find the tone change is more noticeable on clean when the ISP is up on this setting, but on gain it's less.
