Hi!

I have some problems with unknown noises on my D-Moll. When I switch on the amp, there is a sizzling noise like a broken cable or a broken potentiometer.
I checked all cabelings and also twisted every knob, but i still can´t find the reason for this sizzling.
Has anybody an idea what could be wrong?

Thanks
Hendrik

Pre-amp tubes probably :)

wiggle the tubes in the sockets it sounds like a bad connection

Yes, the tubes. Last time for it was the power tubes.
With Peter you are in good hands :-)

Just resolved exactly what you're describing with a fresh set of power tubes. Back to the amp I know and love (hagen)
