Not a full on cover since I don't have time to put together a backing track from scratch. There was a thread the other day there was a thread about Mark series amps and what albums were used. I forgot how much I liked the first Blue Murder album. The self titled tune is my all time fav.

Here is a quick vid of me trying to get close to John's recorded tone. As you can tell, I hit record and played from memory. A couple of timing issues ad a crappy solo ( need to sit down and learn that one). Either way, enjoy the clip!

wow...nice tone. I have nothin but trouble in my car right now.

Yes! Now do Billy! Or Cold Sweat! Come on....take requests.

Great job. That first album just had everything going for it.

Thanks Jim! Will most likely be working on a full blown cover of Cold Sweat with a backing track from scratch.

Get yourself a Front Loaded Cab and load them With Boogie MC90 speaker and play your MKIV through it with a Massive scoop on the Graphic eq. Set on Pentode, add some sauce in the loop (chorus/delay) And watch the smile on your face :D
Thank me later ;)

LOVE IT!

Love Sykes!

Both albums killed! I don't even know how many copies of the first album I wore out :D They are working on hashing things out (schedules and planing according to Carmine) for a 3rd Blue Murder album.. I hope it happens :)

V30's are cool with the Mesa's but I really like those MC90's as well.

Are the MC90s the same as the Black Shadow speakers? I looked on Mesa's site and didn't see any info on them. This is the black Classic I got last September. I had a single in the bridge but decided to put an H2+ in there instead. Tom was nice enough to make one with a white cover to maintain the look. I do wish he could do his humbuckers with white bobbins but his vendor doesn't make them.
