Since I've been testing new tubes in my Twin Jet I also have been giving each of my guitars a run to check their setups and make sure they're going to be ready for a busy summer. Since I haven't been here on the forum for a while and never did post much of my gear I took pictures today of everything. Hope you all enjoy my shitty pics! :)

I suppose we'll do guitars first and start with Suhr. The Lime Green Freeze and Custom Modern Waterfall Burl Maple Trans Blue Denim Slate still impress the hell out of me whenever I play them, especially that custom.

I have 2 E-II's 1 is a 7 string Baritone and I installed BK Warpigs (b) and a Painkiler in the (n). the BK's themselves have the battleworn camo finish. It's the NT-7B.

The other is a E-II LT-27 Horizon. The guitar is a prototype and only 2 were made, I have number 1.

This one is my main and it's an ESP custom M-II. Hannes bridge, volume, killswitch, 3-way switch, deep dish input jack, 5A maple drop top, alder body, maple neck, blank ebony fretboard, matching reversed headstock, X2N (b) and a Evolution in the (n), scalloped frets 12th to 24th. Color is see thru black.

Jackson V's still make me as happy today as they did many years ago and thanks to Steve at CMC guitars I was able to snatch 2 custom V's that were part of their satin black run. They come with the EMG-X pups, each has a killswitch, the RR1 is a T (string-thru) and the King has the reverse headstock and inays. I've drooled over a custom RR1T for years but it gets even sweeter.

Like I said I could never get enough of these Jackson V's so there is also a Lightning and this one has X2N and a evo

2 of my influences were Dimebag and Chuck Schuldiner so these I had to have. The Dean Natural Stealth has dual BK Painkillers.

Last guitars are my Charvel's. 1 is an 8th batch USA So Cal Slime Green and the other is a custom San Dimas Primer Scream Robin's Egg Blue. The Slime Green has a BK Warpig in the (b) and the custom has a Tone Zone (b) and Liquid Fire (n).

Here comes the amps!

Bogner Twin Jet

Splawn Nitro w/ EL34B

ENGL E530 preamp w/ ENGL 840/50 power amp

Mesa Boogie Mini Recctifier

For FX

That's everything fellas! Hope you like.

I have the same suhr modern satin and its my favorite guitar that i have ever owned. I will be buying a custom in the next few years. Or maybe a modern antique.

They have some great colors going right now for the antique line up. That surf green is amazing. Whatever it is they did to that Lime Green Freeze made for a great guitar. Mine doesn't need a setup despite the seasonal change, holds tune song after song, and sounds too good. It's tone is also very clean.

A Suhr custom antique would be very hard to put down.

I dig your taste!
That 27 fret ESP appears to be based off of the Kiko Loureiro Horizon...god damn I miss that guitar!!! Is it standard thickness body or plus sized like the Kiko?

Thanks man! I'm not sure about the thickness or the story behind the guitar. It was supposed to be the prototype for Lord Tim's as a custom for him or something, he's the singer for Lord a popular band in Australia. For whatever reason the guitars never got to him and there were 2 prototypes at ESP that went to a friend of mine and I got number 1 of the 2. It is heavier than most guitars and is a little different than other Horizons. It's control scheme is 1 Volume (with Push-Push Coil Split Switch), 1 mini toggle switch to switch phase on rear humbucker, 3-way slide switch. Kinda weird. It came stock with a SD Custom 5 and I can't ever remember seeing a guitar come stock with that pup in the bridge, usually players who like it add it later. the neck pup is a SD SHR-1n.

I love the color scheme on it. It's Metallic Splatter Dark Blue so sometimes it can look purple. Frets are scalloped by the way 12th-27th.

The egg blue San Dimas leaves me in pain. I want one of those really bad now. Looks amazing.

That Burl Suhr also looks top notch. Actually all of your gear is awesome lol.

Very nice collection.

Man, everything in those pics looked great! It was like a mini guitar store.

The Suhr Burl custom is all mahogany except for the maple top so it's a bit on the dark side but one of the better mahogany guitars I've ever played. Plus I think Suhr pups are really top notch. It's super easy to dial in a good tone for this fiddle. The only guitar in my collection that beats it out is my ESP custom simply because it has an X2N in the bridge and its super punchy. If I was recording though I'd bring my Suhr's. That ESP custom is a monster live but for clarity and great tone the Suhr's are more suitable for putting jams down.

The Charvel's are just shredders. The Slime Green with the Warpig makes for some super aggressive soloing if you enjoy that sort of reckless fun and oddly enough my custom Charvel, the Robin's Egg Blue, is the guitar most people like. It's just very well built and the tone this guitar produces can cover many different kinds of music.

I've been slowly cleaning everything up while trying to break these cabs in. It's going to be a busy summer for me music wise so I must organize and beat my rig in to shape.

You guys wanna laugh? Not only do I have a Diezel VH4 coming but today I just bought a Dean Razorback Dime Slimebolt. Mahogany top, body, and neck, OFR, set neck construction, black hardware, and the pups in it have got to go! I'm thinking Black Winters. My fortress of solitude just continues to grow.

Great stuff.

Tell me more about those rack cases that look like amp head shells.

You can get the head shell racks in any of the colors Splawn offers for their amps. You can remove the top plate that says Splawn on them and have a 5 space head shell rack that you can order at 11.5" deep or 14" deep. They have skid plates on each end and are shielded on the inside just like a regular head. I like them a lot more than the usual plastic rack boxes you have to buy. The rack head shells are built real strong and it allows for your rack gear to fit in nicely with the rest of your rig. You just choose the color of the tolex and piping and how deep you want the head shell. None of my rack units stick out the back.

Pricing is $250 for an 11.5" deep rack head shell and $275 for the 14" deep one.
