I'm considering all 3 right now. Obviously the Boss/Analogman has them both beat price wise, but they have it beat in versatility.

Anyone played all three? Minimal tone suckage required (even though it will be in the loop of the amp...)

I'm leaning towards the Nova at the moment.

Suggestions/experience/advice is appreciated. Thanks.

i love my timefactor, it has a killer and lush delay sound. plus it does more than just delays...nothing sounds like an eventide.

I really like my Nova delay. Sounds great and zero tone suckage.

None of the above.

Damage Control Timeline. Gets my vote for best delay.

That sounds absolutely great. Combining analog and digital aspects seems like the best of both worlds. Their distortion pedal clips sound great too.

I really like the 2 track looper on it and each track has an individual level. The only thing it doesn't seem to have is a ducking delay, but i never use that anyway. The Timefactor has a few more bells and whistles but i think this thing sounds better, just my 2 cents.

"Few more" is an understatement for any of the Eventide pedals as I am still tweaking my Modfactor 2 weeks later, not saying better or worse but the control you have on an Eventide is stupid for a pedal. These pedals should be in 19" 1u rack enclosures.

+1 on the Damage Control Timeline. Sounds very warm and the 2 track looper is a real nice bonus. I've heard from a couple people that sold their Timefactor's after getting one. From what I hear the Timefactor alters your tone. The Timeline is very transparent.

I've seen some people say that about the Timefacotr on TGP. Not sure if i believe it since i read the same thing about the Nova, and to me the Nova didn't suck any tone as long as it was calibrated.

But yes, the Timeline probably has the best buffer out there, plus the control it gives you over the sound of the delays is really great.

I saw a few Harmony-Central reviews that said the Timefactor altered the tone...I was gonna get one till I saw that. TGP annoys me...too much cork sniffing and too many 'know-it-alls'.

Depends who was saying the tone altering over there as many of those asshats are diming gain while boosting plus I am willing to bet they had no clue about the parameters on an eventide. They are not out of the box turn on effects, sorry but true.

TimeFactor is very transparent IMHO. I run it with my PT100 and really love it. Have a Suhr Mini Mix II on the way and figure that will be even better!!

The Nova delay is a PITA to have to keep dialing in the level. I've got the Timefactor right now and it kills. I'm running it either Ducking, Mod Delay or Tape Echo modes out in front of my Avenger.

Why do you have to keep dialing in the level on the Nova? I set mine once and haven't touched it since and haven't noticed any changes at all.

I dunno....the volume never seemed to match up right until I re-set it. It could have been user error of course

The thing i like about the Timeline is you can add mod whenever you want, so you don't have to specifically be in a mod-delay mode, plus it has another mode for a chours/flange type mod.

I doubt you can go wrong with either the Timefactor or Timeline. The only unit from Eventide i keep hearing a bum rap on is the Modfactor. And it's not from people who don't take time to tweak it, i keep hearing it's real sterile sounding.

I used a Nova in the loop and sometimes the ducking mode would work, and sometimes it wouldn't and I'd have to recalibrate it often. Too much so that i thought it became a pain.
