Nova System Test Run (Clip)

SO my Nova System arrived today... God Bless Thomann.de and their great offers!

Anyway, I don't have my amps here at home, so I decided to try and run it straight through my Line 6 POD XT Live (Line 6 Clean Amp mod.), just for shits and giggles. Used a US 60th Anniversary Strat.
Used the "Animal" preset, edited a little bit.

Had myself a little jam over Steve Vai's "The Animal". I used to know the intro, but I have forgotten it... So it's pretty much just a 1 take little jam over it. Clams n all.

I can't wait to try this thing through my amps tonight at rehearsal!

Anyone got some good settings?

I think it sounds decent considering it's running through a POD. I can't wait to actually try it for what it was meant to do.

I bought it to trim down my pedal board. I will be plugging it in to my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. I have not studied the unit, but I gather the 4 cable method is possible? If not I will run it straight in.
I need to cover a lot of groud, so it works well for me just having that and a good clean amp (pretty much any tube amp with a good clean will do).

The only thing bothering me so far, is the delay when switching the drive on. But I suppose I will get used to it.

You can run it straight into the amp and use the drive or in the effects loop without the drive. Unfortunately you can only use one way or the other at a time.
 
Yeah, I found out. Fortunately it sounds badass through the front of an amp. Really pleased with the unit.
