Finally got my Musicomlab EFX 62M wired up yesterday. Now I've got much more programming presets and midi functions to set. Love it so far. Board is a Creation Streamliner 24x16 and effects controlled with a Musicomlab EFX 62M. Hope Dave Friedman doesn't mind me sporting his logo on the front (such a little fanboy thing to do but I like it). Specs are one AC inlet, 3 Switchcraft ins-outs, and all wired with Lava Ultramafic Tightrope & soldered ELC. Was so proud of this I even shot a video that I'll post later.

Nice man! How do you like 62M? I was thinking of getting one to be able to switch channels on Mark V and be able to get rid of the massive pedal it already comes with. Are you able to wire it up to switch your amp channel and, at the same time, turn on an effect such as reverb so one click does both?

Thanks. Is your main interest MKV amp ch switching? I'd do another route if thats all cause would be an expensive replacement amp footswitch. But for sure, you can wire it up to change the Mark V's channels with the function switches, and any open loops you don't use. I only have to use one TRS cable to my BE100's single TRS jack to switch between clean, BE, and HBE (boost) and assign those ch's to any present along with any effects combo. Only pedal I control separately is the Neunaber WET, and mainly because I use the EXP controller with that. Did loads of research and waited on this 62M to come out and it was well worth it.

So my main interest isn't just in the Mark V channel switching but also being able to switch on effects with the channel changes. For instance, I'd want a compressor and reverb to hit on with my clean channel but turn off when I get to my lead channel - or have it setup to auto-trigger a patch in my BOSS DD-500 for leads when I want to solo. Those sorts of things.

Hi All,
I've only just joined when I saw this great Freidman and Effects aboard.
I was wondering if the EFX62M was able to route through an amp effects loop with
Tmeline, Mobius and a reverb pedal and a line booster. Then put wah and 1 dirt pedal through to the front of the amp.
Looking at the back it seems possible looping all separately.
I hope that makes sense

So your asking about putting the Timeline, Mobius and Reverb in effects loop of 62M and out two cables to the loop of amp? Yes you can but there is only 2 loops "officially" after the first 4 front of amp loops, but you could use any loops to route to the amp loop. But if you have midi pedals, I see no reason for them to take up loops, just switch/change them via Midi.

Thanks for your advice on this. I was trying to get tap tempo via midi separated and save able between Timeline and Mobius.
I have a DMC 3XL gen 2 Disaster Area and it's great except for Midi triggered tap being sent to both Strymons unless one of them is bypassed.
This is why I was thinking of assignable tap sent from a controller to midi channels separately 1 or 2 etc assigned on/off per patch.
If that is possible with the EFX62M then I'll be as sound as a pound.
I've posted a picture of my board almost complete.
