Been wanting to get some cool analog chorus action going...
Japan Ibanez CS-9 and Boss CE-2.
I was able to grab these pedals over the couple of weeks and they are both unbeeibably in 9.5/10 condition, like super-duper clean.
I grabbed the CS-9 first, and then Dave Friedman suggested that I get a CE-2 in my chorus thread and was lucky enough to find one local on Craigs list from a keyboard player who had it sitting in his closet since the early 90's. The thing looks amazing for it's age.
The Boss is super sweet with gain, very smooth. Ibanez is really awesome under gain just a bit more in your face.
Clean tones are hard to beat with the ibanez, the Boss is awesome just more sublte in comparison...
Both pedals are great and total keepers, the CS-9 is a little stronger effect and gives a slight boost when engaged.
Need to get a keely bypass pedal or one control blender pedal to get them out of my path in the loop when not using them now.
