Also picked up a Mister Crybaby Super, but that's just a wah/vol. This thing is unreal!!

Ignore the 'arty' pic, I Instagram'd it and I haven't taken another yet...

cool! Wampler stuff is great! whats the 2 knobs? boost/bypass?

i got one too.

one of the best marshall brown sound in a box!

Is this a different tone than the one from a few years ago?
I had a Pinnacle, it was pretty good sounding with a clean amp, it had a lot of gain. Brian was getting there tonally, but not quite. Plus, there was something strange with the output impedance, it didn't play nice with all of my other pedals. I sold it.

+1. I had EXACTLY the same experience. Unfortunately, the pedal was in and out of my life in under a week.

Love the red though, and everyone knows that red sounds better! :D

I sold mine to someone locally on Craigslist, and I noticed it up for sale on Craigslist within a week by him.

If he corrected some stuff I would try it again, it was pretty good.

I'm a fan of the Wampler Pinnacle into a clean amp and I use it when using a rental backline. I don't have any issues with the Pinnacle and the other pedals behind it (CAE Line Boost, Boss Chorus, TC Flashback, Sonic Turbo Tuner).

I then bought a Pinnacle Deluxe model--figuring that having the boost foot-switchable would make the pedal even more fun. However, I could not get the Deluxe model to sound the same or as good as my newer smaller version of the pedal.

Been curious about the Pinnacle for a while now, but I've got a music-store-owner friend who's had/tried everything (including the Pinnacle) and he still swears that the Carl Martin Plexitone I sold him kills everything else he's ever heard for the brown-in-a-box thing. I only sold it because I didn't need it (I prefer to use the amp distortion on both my XTC and Ultra Lead). But I kind of wish I still had it now...

I think they've got that tone down. Especially for a pedal into a clean amp.

my rack is full of egnater modular and randall MTS!

I love it!

As for clips of the pinnacle I dont have any because as good as it sounds, I only use it when I go and play with other people when I have to borrow their amps.

I basically add my pedal board to their clean channel and GO!
