I picked up the Wampler Sovereign Distortion (WSD) a few days ago. My Bogner Red (BR) pedal sounds great but I wanted something to kick it in the butt from time to time. The WSD is the perfect choice for me. While the BR sounds sophisticated and sweet, the WSD adds a little hair and sizzle. I can use the BR tones by itself for a lot of lilght to heavy crunch tones and lead tones. The WSD -> BR wil be my goto singing lead tone. The WSD sounds ok by itself but really shines when hitting the BR...great combo!
