This might as well be an NOS, it's nearly immaculate! Case is pretty sweet too. There's virtually no signs of fret wear, and the plastic is still on the back covers.

Schecter Banshee-6 FR-Active, with real, (Korean) Floyd Rose, EMG 81/85, ebony board, and Wizard-like neck. I had to do a set up, the intonation was off, and it needed a truss rod adjustment, but an hour and a half later, it's ready to give an Ibanez Team J-Craft a run for it's money! Stupid crazy nice guitar. Absolutely flawless fretwork and finish. These South Korean-made guitars are the shit. I can't believe how cheap these pop up for. This is my third one, (first with EMG's). Killer, killer guitar! Behold the Crimson flame top!

inquiring minds want to know.

I want to check out some Korean Schecters. In the past 2 months I've bought 2 USA Schecters. The quilt one is from 1997 and the floyded flame one is from 2013. I think the Schecter USA shop refreshed things in 2012 when they launched the USA Production line. They're killer guitars if you like Superstrats and I emailed them for some info and Shigeki Aoshima responded back and couldn't have been more helpful. They really know their stuff. Tom Anderson and Suhr make KILLER guitars but I think these USA Schecters are as good quality speaking and could save you some coin. Going back a few months for me I was playing a Les Paul and was struggling on it and wanted to go back to Superstrats. But the Anderson's and Suhr's were all demanding a lot of coin so I took a chance on these and I've been very happy. And I can't wait to play them on some good sized stages in the upcoming months with a new band I just got into.

  definitely does.

I really need to try one of these Schecters. You say Wizard like neck which interests me. Possibly too thin for me these days but any Schecter ive played had a baseball bat for a neck and I couldn't do it.

These were absolutely outstanding pieces of gear for the price, too bad they got discontinued, though there's a chance to see em back in 2019 a lil restyled. The Elite version is even better.

That Korean factory (WMI) puts out some killer stuff.

These days, I reach for my PRS SE over my Ibanez Prestige. Granted they are very different guitars, but the PRS SE feels REALLY solid for being such an affordable guitar.

Yes, World Music is definitely top-notch. The Korean SE's are no joke either. You can get them cheap, upgrade the pickups/electronics, and have a rock-solid workhorse that sounds and plays beautifully. And the tuning stability surpasses alot of USA Gibsons. The ESP Alex Skolnick models are other fine guitars. I owned 3 of them, and would take another any day. And, they need nothing, (unless you upgrade the wiring/switches/jack, which can be sketchy).

My local tech center actually bought the Electra brand, and they sell LP copies that are sweet, and come from WMI as well. These guys came from Parker and Dean, one of which was chief designer at Dean for many years, Ben Chafin, who builds these locally http://www.chafincustom.com

I think there is a thread on Guitar Amp Board, but I am not a member over there.

I have an Axe-FX II and Matrix Poweramp, and a Boss Katana Head, so still have plenty of SS gear!

Yeah, my Banshee, and my two PRS SEs are my main/favorite guitars I own. All great, and part of the reason why I kind of want another banshee.

The Banshee neck is Ibanez thin, but it is much rounder instead of flat, and is narrower. You can curve your hand around it like holding a broom or something, lol. It is actually very comfortable for being as thin as it is.

I wonder if Washburn made the X50PROQ there, those were really well built and great sounding hardtails...cheap as hell used at around 300 bucks. Baseball bat necks but still, nice guitars....
