Looks like Nuno is using Marshalls but a JCM 900?????

I saw Extreme last week and Nuno was using JCM2000 DSL's boosted with a very beat up looking RAT pedal.

The RAT wasn't even on his board. It was placed right at the input of the amp. He never even turned it off when he switched to the green channel on the DSL.

If you read the thread associated with that video the person states that Nuno had 2 DSL's on stage with him in Manila but used the 900.

Some people are saying that he's using the Marshalls because they are either easier to rent, especially overseas, or because its easier to use the supplied backline. I think something is going on with him and Randall. This recent tour would have been a huge advertisement for his amps.

I was right in front of him at the gig and occasionally, him and his tech were adjusting the bottom DSL. 100% sure that he was using the actual, on-stage DSL's that night.

Like you, I too think that he's not gonna be with Randall for much longer. Apparently, Mike Fortin sent him a tweaked NBKing100 to approve earlier this year but no news after that.

He had a few signature Randall stacks at M3 but actually miked up a Marshall half stack hidden behind them for that show. I can understand using Marshalls overseas so he doesn't have to take his own rig, but to use one when his amps were there points to him not being happy with the Randall. Too bad...its a cool looking amp.

Just another pro using a DSL ! Covers vintage to modern well enough and the fingers do the rest...
