It’s like when people quit smoking and then go on and on forever about how everyone else should quit smoking and bitching at council meetings until smoking is banned in bars and going on guitar forums bitching about people selling Plexis that smell like smoke.

You're not wrong. I use to smoke weed. My brain snapped from it, had my first panic attack and all the PTSD from the military came out at once. Since then, 1 hit of weed and I feel like I'm on acid. Shit makes me psychotic. I hate the shit. I hate the smell of it, I hate people calling it medicine. Hate everything about it.

But do I dare go on a rampage trying to prevent others from enjoying it? No. Why? Because I have common sense and don't get off on exerting control on others, like the government. That's why I hate the government and anyone in it. If you are in politics, it's because you're weak minded, have zero skills, zero hobbies, zero interests, and have so little going on in your own life and are so ashamed of yourself, the only thing that makes you feel anything is exerting control over others. Oh and Fuck Elton John.

Even if I had no idea who he was, he's just one of those cunts that you feel like inserting your fist in his mouth and out the back of his skull.

I haven’t smoked weed in 13 years and haven’t done cocaine in about 25 years. I would never tell
Anyone else not to though. My wife and kid and most of the people I know smoke weed. And cocaine is fun as fuck. Good way for me to have a heart attack but man, I sure liked it way back when.

I would 100% tell people NOT to do cocaine now. 25 years ago, it was actually coke, or maybe lightly cut. Now there's a great chance it's Fent and you die. Actual real cocaine should be legal IMO if they could ever control it. It's a very bitchmade drug and so overrated.
 
Luckily I was never around coke. If it's anything like a perc or a vicodin, I'd be all in. I take opiates and I'm ready to strip the roof off the house and re-roof it. At 2am. Energy for days. Until it wears off, then I get hostile. I was an opiate junkie for 2 years. Friday - Monday every week with a 3 day detox. Then I figured out I was missing 3 days during the week and decided the buzz was not worth the price.

Yeah, Coke and me probably wouldn't be good. I get like Charlie Sheen x 100. I'd have loved to party with that fucking guy. We'd be a bad combo, LOL.

Then I heard that coke only lasts like 20 minutes and you have to do it again? Doesn't seem very economically viable.

I caught my kid, who's 17 now with weed about 2 years ago. He got it at school. We live on the outskirts of a real bad city. It freaked me out. So I told him DO NOT buy weed at school. I go to the dispensary and get him his own weed, that way I know it's not gonna have spice, whack, or whatever that synthetic shit is in it. I told him if I ever hear, see, or even have a faint of an idea hes doing anything else besides weed, or if I ever catch him drinking or drunk, I'm going to lose my marbles and chain him to the wall in the basement.

Some fuckheads over @ TGP told me to "have a talk with him and tell him to not smoke weed" instead. Fucking idiots. Yeah, he's gonna just stop smoking weed.

Elton has like 34 years sober. I have 23 and i didn't get sober willingly.
John has helped a ton of folks giving back and has various foundations including one for children w/ HIV.
I could care less about his sex life or anyone else's its none of my business.

The weed today isn't Cheech n Chong stuff its addictive like any other Narcotic and it sends the wrong message to young people.
A guy i work with just got a new State job. When i told him today Missouri is going to drug test him he turned white as it will be a dirty.
Young folks here think because its "recreational" they can do what they want.
Truth is the only thing thats changed is you can "possess" 6 ounces and not go to jail Thats almost a 1/2 fucking pound.
Everywhere else where drugs are Verboten they still are.
Thats the skinny. The weed thing is a complete debacle.
They will try to legalize Heroin & Coke next. Some already are.
Some folks like to wakeup with a gram of Heroin in their arm and a carton of Marlboro's.

In 1982 i saw Quarterflash open for EJ @ the VP Fair under the Arch. EJ opened with "Funeral for a friend" swear to God one of thee best shows in 100 degree 100% humidity STL summer heat ive ever seen.
They dressed EJ as a STL City Cop to get him thru the crowd of 400K people to the stage.
I saw him but didn't know it was him he had those bigass black frame glasses on.

Oh yeah. VP fair. We always went there to fight. Watched a guy get stabbed to death 10 feet away from me. Right about that time they quit doing the fair altogether. I remember that specific show too. Not because of Quarterflash or Elton John though. I would never pay to see either of them.

I remember a VP Fair, I was like 4-5 so it was mid 80's. Lightning started striking shit and there was a huge storm, my parents got us outta there

When I was growing up the boomers would justify condemning us kids smoking it by saying "oh it's so much stronger than the stuff we smoked back in college", which was pretty much BS. Well, NOW it's actually stronger than the stuff we smoked in college but it ain't addictive. Not even close. It just stinks more. It's a waste of time and money but it ain't addictive.
