Oh no, Not again....

So I was practicing last night and was totally enjoying the tones from the Egnater rack. I look over and see the SL and Erect modules sitting there on the shelf. I figure, what the hell, haven't played through either of them in a while since I'm extremely happy with the VX,COD,EG3/4 and SL2X in the M4. My mod 50 is at rehearsal and the MOD 100 is packed up waiting for the upgrade so I only have the M4 at home right now.

I Swapped out 2 mods with these and..........It sounds freaking awesome! So why is it when I haven't played a mod for a while, and I try it again, I freakin love it?????

I'll tell you why. Bruce and Jeff are Geniuses!!!!

Yeah...I am bad at that... The DLX is "the one" module I really regret selling. But alas...I'm good to go ...as I have another one now!!! The erect is one module I never have regretted selling. I think I'll pickup a Grail sometime to get those Rectumfrier tones.

This post is exactly the reason why I had to have my MOD 100. Before I had the Egnater, everytime my taste in guitar sounds changed, I would buy a different amp. Now I just change my preamp. So perfect for me. And so less expensive and frustrating too. No buyer's remorse here. It's actually fun chasing tone now.
