Yes, sounds great.
Use it out front of a clean amp if you like the Nova's built in gain...or throw it in the loop and have great effects and solo level boosting at your feet.

Sure they do, but I couldn't tell ya. I'm not much into phase, chorus, flange effects...the reverb and delay is delicious.

I like mine,sounds pretty darn good to me.I use mine in the loop with a couple of dirt pedals in front and it works and sounds just fine.The cool thing about it is you can turn on and off FX within a preset! Take a second line out of the unit to another amp loop return for big stereo sound.The only thing that bugs me a little is switching between banks isn't as fast as switching presets.

Just messing around the other day with the boost feature and today it wasn't working so I gotta dig into it a bit. Really just started exploring the possibilities, but there's a lot of options.

There's a global boost setting in main levels you need to set for +2 or +3...whatever you prefer...+3 works well

Yup- in the levels menu I've got Advanced to "on" and boost set at +4db, but it's not giving me the volume bump. Worked the other day so I'm obviously doing something wrong. Just gotta play around with it.

Can the Nova system change the channel on my Rockerverb ? I have an old Korg A4 at the moment which sits in my loop and adds delay, reverb, chorus, compression and volume boosts, but it's 18 years old and I'd liek something more powerful that does the same thing with better quality effects.

I dont think it can chahge the channel but the drive on this thing is great!!!Im gonna try the effects loop method today to see if thats where its at 4 me...

No it can't change channels.

the 4 cable method allows you to use an effects unit in both the loop and the front of an amp. It allows you to keep your drives, od, phasers, wahs, etc in front while the delays, verbs and chorus run through the loop. the nova system isn't capable of doing that...which is one mistake they made with this unit IMO.
