Old Mesa Strategy 400 - mod presence

I may have found an old version of the 400 power amp. There’s no presence controls and the volume is on the back.

Is it easy to mod a presence control in?
 
FWIW, I had Mike B mod my M180 to add presence & also add the switchable deep mod. In hindsight neither was useful. The amp is perfect as a colorless power multiplier without them.
 
Mine has the pots on the front and they are not each to get to. I could open it up and see how they did it. Not sure I will be able to measure the pots though. I never have the presence over 3 though…
