I just took a picture of my guitar so i felt like i should finally post it. Here are the specs...

Mike lull sx
25.5
weight 6 lbs 5oz
12-16 compound radius
jumbo ss frets plek
koa top
swamp ash back "trans amber"
Birdseye fret board
gotoh delta 510 tuners 21:1
hipshot bride
1 volume push pull coil split
Bkp warpigs ceramic bridge

Not much to say it is a awesome guitar. This guitar took about a 9 months to a year to receive. Mike's builds usually take much shorter than that but he was not extremely satisfied with the tops he had. I am glad i waited because the top on this guitar is awesome. At the time i purchased this i was missing that 22 fret neck tone and Mike had done all of my repair work and setups for a few years. Plus his shop is down the street from my work in Bellevue WA. This was my first custom guitar and i am pretty thrilled with it. The only thing i really had to get use to is the larger taper on the neck. It is more like a 60's shallow c i guess. It feels fine when playing with a strap on with my finger around the neck though. The bkp Warpigs sound awesome in swamp ash. The high output and the tight nature of the ceramic bridge has made using a maxon 808 pointless and makes switching channels easier. The coil tap tones on this are really great. You can get a evil sound in the bridge for high gain and some great clean tones as well. I have found the pickups not very usable for clean outside of the coil split though. The hipshot bride is great even though the fret board sits higher than modern shredder guitars it still feels low profile. I did have to get the edges ground down on the two outside saddles though. Finally Mike's Plek work is some of the best in the world. Combined with the ss frets it makes bending amazing. Now that i have this i will probably get a suhr modern 7 in basswood/maple or basswood/koa with the museum grade neck. The things i have learned from this build that i will probably change on the next is having a unfinished neck as well as a 16" or straight radius which i feel more natural with in drop tuning. Also i may want more versatile pickups. PS GOTOH DELTA TUNERS ARE THE GREATEST TUNERS EVER!

Congrats! That's mighty fine looking super strat.

What's a average price for a build like that?

I believe it came out around 3k. Mike provided no upcharge for the ss frets as long as i purchased and provided the bk pickups. most of his builds are in that $2500 range.
