What's the oldest piece of gear you currently own that was bought by you or to you.

In my case, my MIA Strat. bought it in NYC Spring of '97 at Sam Ash.

the one I'm playing here, sorry no pics of it right now.

 
1988 charvel 475 special

next would be my 1991 5150 slant cabinet - early first run with striped magnet sheffield 1200's - very few were known to have been made in this erra that still exist.
 
My Hughes & Kettner Access preamp and VS-250 power amp
 
I've got a bastardized strat copy that dates back to '80... Holy Lord...

A Boss DE200 in 1983 I believe I mess with it every now and again :lol: :LOL:
and lots of Boss pedals from the mid 80's
 
This old beauty. Purchaced with my paper route money back in 1983.

I got a Washburn stack in the box from 1982, still have the box too!

exactly Marshall Law..... that you bought, could be that you bought a 59 bassman, but WHEN did you buy it and how long has it been with you :)
 
My 1982 Time SG-8 made in my home town of South Burlington, VT. 24.5" scale. It ripped like no other guitar.
 
Bought a Gibson Q100 in 85, new. I think its was made by Jackson, when he worked for them. Strat style body, pointy headstock, Kahler trem
 
I've still got my Ibanez 540 STD Sabre and Destroyer. Bought them in the mid to late 80s. That Sabre still makes the rotation now and then.
 
a '75 hiwatt custom 100 , had it since last december, killer amp

and an ibanez artist 300 from july 81, basically a month after i was born =0 had that since last year too
 
Bought a Marshall half stack new in 1985.Sold the head.Still have the cab so that would be the oldest. Arion Stereo Chorus I bought new in about 1988 for $32. Next would be my Charvel Model 6 that my dad bought me for HS graduation in 1990 (it's a 1987 model)
 
when did the yamaha rev 7 come out?

and the first edition eventide harmonizer with the steve via presets?

they are in a box in the barn out back. not joking. pretty sure there is a 2290 out there too.
 
Gibson custom shop zakk wylde bullseye les paul, got it for xmas 10 yrs ago.
