Both the studio version and this live concerto performance are just amazing. I used listen to this recording a lot driving through the mountains in stormy weather travelling for work - totally set the mood. The song Brothers is also from a not very well known but awsome album, Seventh Sign.
As far as the tone goes, I understand Yngwie used Fender Rock Pro 1000 amps for the orchesta stuff because they were quieter, more compressed and smoother compared to his Marshalls - makes sense to me.

I don't know what has come over me lately but I've been listening and playing (trying
