yep, destroyed my gear fund by an order of magnitude in November.

I was already tapped out by Black Friday. I've binged hard this year:

- Boss DM-2w
- Boss IR-200
- Boss DD-7
- Boss PS-6
- Boss SDE-3000D
- Boss EQ-200
- Boss MD-500
- Boss RV-500
- Boss ES-8
- Morley 20/20 Lock Wah
- UA Max Compressor/Preamp

The last six were between September and November. The SDE-3000D and DM-2w were the only ones I bought new.

Plus a Planet Waves XTND board, a TrueTone CS12, a Temple Audio Trio 28 with power and patchbay modules, a Mag-Lock bridge for said Trio and 62 Squareplug connectors.
 
I didn't really see much gear related that made me move on Black Friday. Got a lot of software and plugins though.
 
I haven’t got to try it at home and it’s back ordered to January ?‍♂️ but I was really impressed by two of the JHS 3 series pedals. The Distortion (back ordered) and the Harmonic tremolo. The distortion was just a great simple raw and harmonic tone and the trem had a great balance on both settings. After trying some of the bigger pedals with multiple modes/voicings etc and being left dis-satisfied, it was nice just to plug into simple 3 knob, one toggle pedals and have them sound great right away.
 
I can't speak to those pedals but kind of running into that myself. Haven't had a ton of new gear in the last 10 years but started going a little nuts this last year. Having a hard time finding multiple-mode/effect type pedals that I'm liking and end up getting single pedals that do one thing pretty great. The harmonic trem you mentioned sounds interesting.

I use a loop switcher, which makes the decision to go with single use pedals a little easier as I can create any combination to come on with the press of the button. But it seems like it’s not unlike Amps. Amps with a couple of knobs that do one sound with magnificence versus multi mode amps that have just a bunch of OK sounds.
 
In the last week I've bought a Jackson 7 string guitar, a TC Electronic Sentry Gate pedal, 2 packs of strings, and a pack of picks.
Way more than I usually buy this time of year.
Last year I only bought two pedals for the entire year and no other her except a few sets of strings and a Honey pick. Being poor or helps curb the overzealous spending.

Got Boss DM-101, THD Hot Plate and Torpedo Cab M+ all in a week.
But then I got a bicycle on Friday, and I'm definitely taking the Boss back.
And probably returning the entry level Trek.
And maybe sell some pedals and a guitar or two, maybe an amp.

So I can afford a niiiiiiice ($$$$) bike. That stuff is fun!!!!!
 
Oops I forgot, I did buy my Schecter E1 SLS Elite last year.
 
Even though I'm on a buying spree, I did sell several guitars and other gear this year.

Of course I replaced them with more, and more expensive, guitars and gear.

Ive actually behaved myself.
Im turning 50 so I plan on spending some cash on an LP and probably thinking I wanna wire up a Fender blackface of some sort...

Shit, kill me now. I just got ordered a used Gretsch Electromatic and another trem/reverb pedal. But I’ll probabaly return another reverb pedal I got and I’m trying to sell my Strymon Flint. I’ve got a Boogie 50/50 to sell but don’t want to ship as I have no box with the right dimensions. That's on consignment. Trying to keep a little balance going…lol. Just coming across some good stuff right now.
