Opened up for Sons of Texas tonight

Most probably haven’t heard of them, but my band opened up for the guys as they made there way through our area. They were super cool dudes and totally down to earth. I talked gear with their lead guitarist, who rocks a jim root strat with JB/Jazz pickup set into an EVH 100w head. He is still
One of the guys who prefers tube amps, and he knows his shit too. It was great chatting with him. To me, he is one of the top guitarists in the game right now. He is a great mix of an EVH/Dimebag type of vibe with his solo’s and he stays tasteful and plays for the song which I appreciate out of guitar players these days. Anyways, if y’all are on YouTube checking music out one day or iTunes or whatever it is, check that bad out. They have some good upbeat hard rock/metal and a great vocalist as well

Yeah man, they are cool dudes and definitely still humble. I spent some time chatting with the main guitarist Jessie about gear. It’s always cool to see fellow “traditionalists” out there. He runs an EVh 5150 III with a Marshall 4x12, and a pedalboard with a precision drive, evh phase 90, and a couple other pedals. I’m not hating on the kemper/modeler crowd at all, but being a gear nerd I love seeing actual rigs other guys play

That’s a kick ass tune. They have a cover of sharp dressed man that’s badass as well. I know they do it live, just not sure it was actually ever recorded.

Here are a couple of clips from our last EP. we have since gotten back with the original vocalist and will have some new stuff out. I never cared for this vocalist, but my brother is our drummer and he made a strong push for him so we dealt with it. He is gone now so fuck it . I’ll be sure and share the new stuff once it’s done. There will be some more intricate guitar work and solo’s in the new stuff

I thought the exact same thing about him. He is a killer vocalist but gives off that pantera vibe for sure ! I talked a good bit with most of the guys. Totally down to earth ready to party and have a good time type of guys.

I really dig the more progressive style of your band. The guitar tones are right up my alley. Nice work. Very interested in hearing the new outfit with the more intricate guitar parts. When are you expecting to have some new material recorded?
