Opinions on ESP Eclipse hardware?

In a way I'd like to have it blacked out but seems kind of money for nothing since I do like it as is also.

Would you leave the gold hardware or black it out?

Kinda spendy to replace. You may be able to find a place that could electroplate your hardware black.
 
or just find and buy black hardware. keep the stock the way it is.
 
It looks awesome like it is. I like black hard ware, but when ever you see a Black Les Paul Custom, its metal as fuck even with gold hardware. Same as with this ESP. Awesome looking guitar by the way. Would love to try one out some time.
 
I like the black hardware, i would change it and sell the gold.
 
I hate gold hardware on any guitar. Just my opinion though.

My opinion too. I've got a similar guitar to that, only lower level LTD. It has a smokey black colored hardware. Gun metal or something? Awesome for sure.
 
Thanks. :thumbsup: I am leaning towards getting black hardware to replace the gold. Might be a while since I don't hate the gold but I definitely think I would like all black better.
 
You have the HetSet... Maybe black nickel could fit too ? Anyhow, black :D
 
I really didn't want gold hardware so I ended up buying a white Eclipse instead.
