I got offered one of these in trade... basically a rebadged black Jubilee, with a Slash logo on it, switchable between 100 & 50 watts. Looks to be near mint, and with the cover.
Any opinions on them as far as tone, reliability, etc?

As far as being wicked versitile and producing killer tones....it kicks ass.

Play it. If it sounds as good as it looks....do it!

Had one for a short while a couple of years ago.
Great amp!
In what could be one of the dumbest gear moves I've ever made, I traded mine straight up for a Friedman Small Box. Wish I could take that one back!
They need a bit of volume to sound best, but take boosts well.
Its a legit Silver Jubilee without the silver tolex, and there aren't too many around.
If trade value is fair, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I owned a couple slash jubes, they sounded really good imo, i liked it better than the marshall slash afd, and also liked it better than my 2203, i would say it was my favorite marshall i owned.

It’s a Jube. If you’ve played the Jube reissues it should be about 5-10% in the same tonal realm. It could just be where my tastes were at the time but when they were new, I thought they were just OK. It never got the cogs turning..and this was working at a store that carried Marshall, so I got to play it whenever I wanted. I actually, around ‘96/‘97 got a 6100 LM to replace my Pitbull and the Slash was around.
Compared to Marshalls made now I bet it sounds pretty good.
Would definitely want to play it first if looking now.

FWIW, 80’s Silver Jubilee’s were my main amp from around ‘93 to ‘95.
