I was looking for a "clean" power supply for the 2 pedals I use, a Boss DD-3 in the loop and a ISP Decimator up front.. Right now, they use an Ibanez wall wart with daisy chain and I get some hiss. Put in batteries, gone. So I figured something like the ISO 5 or maybe there's something more practical that would be effective for what I seek. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have used the PP2+ and cant recommend voodoo lab power supplies enough. The iso seems like a solid smaller version of that and I honestly dont think you can go wrong with it. The ISO-5 is I believe within the price range of the Dunlop DC Brick, but the voodoo is hands down better. The only thing I would say is if you see your self potentially going pedal crazy soon, just cut to the chase and get a PP2+.

It has an 18v, which is cool if you could use one. It also has two 9v 300ma jacks, which is really nice if have pedals that need that kind of current draw. A lot of the heavy processor pedals need that power.

It doesn't have as many 9v jacks as the PP+, but is great if you require a 18v source and/or heavier current draw. It just depends what you have on your board and their supply needs.

I have a Koko boost and an EP booster, both of which can utilize the 18v (I have the koko on that one) and an El Capistan that the 300ma takes care of. It works great for me needs.

I bought a used DC brick from GC the other day but it was missing the 18v cables and I need one for my univibe so I took it back yesterday and picked up the ISO-5. Had a $25 off coupon too  Wired everything up and took it to practice last night. Works like a charm and no noticiable noise. I like it!

In my experience anything from Voodoo Labs is only the best of quality. I don't know what I would do without my PP2+.

+1. VooDoo is the best.

USA designed. USA made. Bulletproof product. Great company.

Don't try to save money and get the imitation supply out there. Buy the original.

That's all I needed to hear. Thanks for all the input guys.
