orange 412 cab

I have an anniversary 412 which comes with celestion H12 30 watt speakers. My problem with this cab is that it is so very dark sounding. I was wondering if it was due to the H30 celestion 30 watt speakers or the 18 ply cabinet built like a tank. This cab is dark my friends. I'm almost scared to put some Rio BBQ in my LP Classic I have coming because I know they are kind of dark sounding. My Heads are Soldano Avenger, Bogner Shiva anniversary, CAE Pete Thorn and a JCM800 2203x. Three of four of those are fairly dark sounding as well.
 
Yeah, I would say the H30's are making it extra dark. The PPC is already a bit darker sounding than other cabs. Maybe you need to x pattern a pair of brighter speakers with the H30's?
 
Or, maybe I need to sell it to one of my RT friends who likes those kinds of tones or has a brighter amp like a Splawn or Marshall. thanks for the opinion
