Orange Retro 50 and AD50?

Anyone played/owned/own one? How would you define the sound?

I need sustainy, singing lead tones with clarity/definition. Think Cornford. I'll get another Cornford 99% but an amp head/whore always wonders as you know :D
 
I'v played through the rockerverb 50 combo amp. Very nice amp, nice tone. They have a reputation of breaking down alot. I have not seen this. The problem I have with them is that there are other amps that sound just as good for a fraction of the cost. I turned to older crate tube amps. I love em!
