I like 6 very much as well. It's what I will probably go with. Going to make an all black and white version to see how it looks as well but I think 6 or# are looking pretty tied.

Well, your chassis is pretty neutral. You could have an extra on hand. I have been thinking about that s well.

I hear what you're saying. I think most people looking at Splawns are pretty aware how personalized the looks of these can get. Hell, just look at their Facebook pages. I have yet to hear anyone say they sat on their amp for an extended period of time. As I have always wanted a modded Marshall style amp, I don't see resale being an issue for me as the tone/pricepoint makes the amp useable for a long time. If I REALLY ever needed to sell it, a plain headshell would be cheap enough to buy.
