This is a song I wrote for my wife. I did it 80's style since she still loves 80's music. I used my Marsha Friedman 50 watt HBE/BE for rhythm and my Metro Plexi 50 watt for the leads, the Aracom DRX attenuator, Marshall 1960B cabinets loaded with Scumback H75 speakers. For guitars I used an 88' Les Paul Standard "Heritage" with stock pickups for the rhythm and a 64 Fender Strat with EMG's s single coil pickups.I use an MXR 10 band EQ to boost the mids. For acoustic I used a Taylor 810ce. The singer from my band sang all the vocals through a Neumann 87i. I hope you guys like it. https://soundcloud.com/eljodon/the-perfect-soul-aracom

Thanks! I like your VH clips! You have the same Variac I used to have. I took it from my chemistry lab in collegue! I used it for years with my old Mesa Boogie MkIIc and it sounded great! I also have the same Boss EQ you have! It sounds nice. Great EVH tone!

Excellent. The vocals are too busy as in too many words jammed in they are not flowing rythmically, and needs more Marsha. This is a guitar forum!

Really? I don't hear that at all. Maybe in a couple of spots since my friend did all the parts in 30 minute and I wanted to keep it natural with no edits or tunning. I showed to several accomplished writers that had several #1 hits and they thought it was fine and these guys have been in the bussines for years . But who cares? My wife love it and that's what counts!(plus I got lucky that night ;) ) I just posted it just to share it with all you fine musicians and to show an example of the amps I'm using.I never planned to license it or give it to anyone. As far as the amp loudness, the mix was very dense and it was hard to fit every instrument. The songs was also never mastered proffesionally and my mastering skills are very poor! I'm just a mixer! LOL! But thank you for your comments!
