I tried to get a real Les Paul, just couldn't find one I liked under 2k that has all the same features.
Hopefully I like the pickups. If I don't, some Black Winters or some 59's are going in. Other than the dumb looking thing on the headstock, I think it's a stellar instrument. Look at those frets and the binding. Jazeesus sonn.

Looks nice! All that matters is how it plays and sounds.....I've said this before, I had an Agile LP that I'd take over quite a few real LPs I've tried.

You can't go wrong with Japanese made Tokai! Never played the newer stuff but I have a 1980 LS 80 that totally smokes a 2013 Gibson R I picked up used 9 months ago at roughly half the price. I'm about to pull the trigger on another 1980 LS 80.

I had an Agile 8 string. Thing was superb as far as fit and finish.

They really are great guitars. I used to live down the street from a shop where I grew up on Long Island that was a dealer for them in the 80's. Always loved their Strats!!!

Well it arrived. Thing is top notch in every regard. Removed the pickup covers as I don't like them. The pickups are a tad bright for my taste. Unfortunately, I am just not digging the feel of the instrument. So I'm gonna throw it up for sale. I can tell within 5 minutes if I'm going to bond with something or not.

Sorry to hear it isn't for you.

It's funny; I'm able to tell in a short amount of time as well, but only recently broke away from the "Oh, I'm sure it'll grow on me mentality." Every purchase should really be a love at first sight experience. If it's not, it's worth it to pay return shipping, if possible, instead of taking a major hit reselling it later.
