Marked for later. I haven't used many of those but did buy a Timmy this morning!

Boss SD-1
This! I'll add that mine is from 86. A little sweeter sounding than the 09 version that I gave to my kid.
But my fave is the Boss OD1X. Even better to me than the Airis stuff.

Hon mention is the Maxon 808. Great pedal.

Mine is old too, but I had a Taiwan version too and it wasn’t bad... I’ll also say the DOD YJM boost but ONLY for single coils. Sounds nice and fat and smooth. Even better would be an OLD DOD 250 OD grey/gray spec but Yngwie nuts have driven the prices insane.

Timmy is my most versatile and used overdrive. It can be a stand-alone od, mid boost like TS/Klon, eq shaper after otherndrive pedals, or clean boost at end of chain or in effects loop.
TS and Klon are great for what they do. I settled on the KTR of all the klones.
Honorable mention to Barber LTD or 1/2 Gainer or Gain Changer. Those pedals are fantastic,

I’ve been through almost 100 different ones and have had 8 keepers:
Klon Centaur
Timmy V1
Ethos TLE
Lazy J Cruiser
Spaceman Mercury IV
Friedman Buxom Boost
Friedman Golden Pearl
VFE Standout

I’m surprised the Friedman’s (Buxom Boost and Golden Pearl) don’t get discussed here more. None of their amps were keepers or worth having for me, but those 2 pedals are killer

Maxon OD808 is not on your list. It's damn good with a JCM800 or boosting the crunch channel of a Soldano...

From the list the TS9 is the only one I like much.

I skimmed through the vid and liked pretty much all of them for one thing or another. Probably why I go through so many OD's! I like different flavors for different things and amps.

I do agree with the Koko love. Has been my #1 for several years now.

The Buxom is definitely awesome. Just like all boosts it depends on the setup.

When I had the JP2C the Buxom was a fire breather. Probably one of the best tones I have had.

You're missing the most popular OD pedal by far off your list. I suspect most people haven't even heard of half of those, much less actually tried them.

SD-1 gets my vote. It's simple, it's cheap, and it does the job.

I'll watch the vid when I get home and vote on my favorite off the list though.
