Overhauled my Gibson Victory

Wasn’t a fan of the sound or aesthetics of the black/white 80’s Tribute buckers. They were cool at first but the top end fizz revealed over time. I also had no use for the complicated push/pull splitting and whatever pots. Looked like a rat’s nest in the cavity.

Threw in completely new pots and simple wiring and installed a Dimarzio Super Ceramic PAF and 36th PAF in black/cream. Popped on a couple vintage cream top hats and switch tip to match.

Update. The Dimarzio’s aren’t working in here. Too low middy and not enough high mid cut. Gonna throw the ceramic PAF in my super strat. I have a zebra set of Duncan Skolnick’s that I’m going to try in the Victory.
