Ozzy reunion with Jake E Lee!!!

Ozzy fucking blows these days...no thanks. Jake needs a real project. He needs something like Badlands, except with commercial success, so that he gets the appreciation that he deserves.
 
I don't like singers that do the diva thing and rotate band members, taking out guitar players like weekly trash. Ozzy has had some great guitar players and got them a degree of fame. I guess it is on the, to take that fame and make something of it.

But I have it bought any Ozzy in a while. I think No More Tears download. That was a freak song. Guitar was evil.
 
If Nuno can play with Rihanna these days, then Jake E Lee should be able to find something to promote...

The God Bless Ozzy thing was on cable a week or so ago and if the way Ozzy reacted when they talked about his Jake era work was true, I don't think there'd ever be a reunion.

It was like he was embarrassed with that whole time.

Yes, new Ozzy is rubbish. That "I don't wanna stop" song was the worst song I've heard in years. :yes:
 
I would have loved this....

I really liked a lot of the material when these two were together.
 
Jake and Nuno seem to be in different boats.

Nuno is on the way to pop legend status, he has sig amps, guitars, many hit songs with different artists. He even gets popularity with the "is he gay" crowd. No doubt Nuno is a monster. He is the funk metal shred Jedi ..

Jake I just don't hear about, aide of here and That Metal Show. Great player. There must be more to the story.
 
I would love to see more of Jake. Easily my favorite Ozzy guitar player (I love Randy too). This is one of my favorite Jake vids that showcases some killer playing. His interpretation of Randy's solos are respectful to the original while still adding his own thing to it. One of the more fun players to watch too. Tones of attitude!

 
my two favourite Ozzy tunes are Bark at the Moon and Shot in the Dark, the guitar playing on both is killer

If? Nuno doesn't need to play with Rihanna. He put the Extreme tour on hold TO play with Rihanna because it is a ridiculously cushy gig, were he gets to travel, get paid huge sums of cash and have fun without having the headache of worrying about all the bullshit that he would have to with either Extreme or his other bands all while doing what he wants. Rhianna is a fan and loves rock guitar. He is friends with dudes in her band. He gives up nothing for the gig and gains everything. He still gets to do Extreme and opens of himself and the band to a wider audience.

You would think more guitarists would do what Nuno is doing
hell sure beats working a day job when you can do something you like doing and get paid for it.

I think a situation like that would be great for Jake by allowing himself to earn a good living and hopefully allow time and funds for better side projects

All Rihanna admittedly did live was copy her friend Fefe Dobson's live sound approach
 
I think we know the Jake thing ain't gonna happen...
When I think back to Ozzfest 2000 I say, BRING BACK JOE HOLMES!!!!
