how is the carol ann treating you?

hopefully you are digging it and a review would be cool-

peace out tone maven!

Right here nursing a broken ankle and leg with 18 pins and some metal rods. 3weeks into it. Can't get to my Trip R as it and all my real amps are down in the man cave. That said I will find a way to get down there very soon as I am having amp withdrawals.

I did have the pleasure of enjoying that amp thru a Hendrix 4x12 and a creamback loaded 1x12. Love it so far but I have not logged a whole lot of time on it yet. I do love it though. I have some really great amps and that one is very cool no doubt. My favorite Carol Ann to date.

I will have a full report in a couple weeks and post my findings.

oh MAN that stinks bro bro!
i hope you aren't suffering too much--maybe you should have an atma upstairs for a little pre-recovery throwdown!

what else graces the sniderman arsenal these day? i'd guess two rock and bogner...and all i do know is that anything you have,

owns.

i'd love to hear your opinion on what the best clean tone amp you have heard recently is--specifically between carol ann, bogner (goldfinger is a shocker) and two rock "fill in the blank"

I have a very early Bogner Goldfinger which I love. I also have a VHT Deliverence 120 which kills, a Bruno one off called the little one which is a clone of a bf Princeton reverb, also have a Bill Krinard Two Rock 3 channel 100 watt amp which is the most amazing amp I own, the Carol Ann Trip R, a modded hot rod deluxe and a couple other smaller amps.

As far as clean tones the two rock has amazing headroom and beautiful reverb as well as cost me a fortune. The second channel is a Marshall plexi circuit and the third is a hot rodded beast with separate eq and gain and volume. Huge sounding amp.

The Trip R has a beautiful clean channel as well. I went for that amp because I wanted another amp that was under 50 watts and I knew it would be great and had the right feature set for me and it does
not disappoint in any respect. Cool amp.

The Goldfinger is a phenomenal amp too! I have owned it more than two years and it has never let me down. Great tone shaping and so many tones in that one.

I love my gear. I fear that the upcoming medical bills will cause me to downsize but I will resist at all costs. I need all of them!

so the two rock wins in the best clean department huh?

i have always LOVED two rock cleans and put them on the top of my list too but man the goldfinger and carol ann have ridiculous cleans as well, and the goldfinger is such a landau amp, and the Od2r is ej and joe b. in a box! hard to choose!

when i had the onxy and od2r, overall i favored the od2r, but the TR clean had a slight advantage in sparkle and beauty.

i also think you'd like to here the henning cherry bomb...

Would love to hear a Henning. I also really would have dug NAMM dammit. Next year. This particular Two Rock is not a model and yes it has Bill's best clean channels ever. There are two of them on this amp. Fender clean and a marshall clean channel. The cleans on the new amps are real nice too.
