I'm running a T-Rex Replica in the loop of my Mod 50. I'm noticing distortion on the repeats of the delay. Any idea on what could be causing this?

Thanks,
Billy

"Your Replica can be used in an effects loop, but note that input signals above 2 dBu can cause distortion".

lower the individual channel masters.

.

I use a Boss GE-7 for lead boosts, a Boss RV-5(killer reverb) and MXR Carbon Copy delay in my parallel loop using an Ebtech line level switcher and I am getting the best tones I have ever had! Grab an Ebtech on ebay!

It looks like I'm going to get a rack unit. No matter where I set the Replica I get clipping. I don't like setting the channel volumes low. I had to set the DLX side with the gain at 9:00 and the volume at 11:00. Even then I still got clipping when I would dig in.

What do you guys recommend for a rack processor? I use Delay most of the time but a little verb would be nice. I prefer chorus, trem, phase ect to hit the front end of the amp so I won't need any of that stuff in the processor.

You guys rock!

Get an ebtech line level shifter and it will fix the distorting. It works perfectly and I run my masters up high.

How does it prevent clipping? Does it have a volume control?

I have an intellifex on ebay for sale if interested. Is the T-Rex, line level?

I use a Boss EQ, Carbon Copy Delay, and Boss RV-5 Reverb in the loop and all are instrument level with the exception of the CC. I use the Ebtech. It shifts the signal down to the pedal and then back up before going into the amp. I use the Parallel loop and I am VERY HAPPY! Works like a champ!

definitely need to use pedals and such that can handle line level..or use the ebtech line level shifter.
