My amp tech friend has a 75 watt model with kt88's. He said it is just like an old Marshall. It has been modded to hell and back now. Would this amp do a good van halen type tone?

Its a Marshall. The Park/Marshall thing was a name-copyright and distribution thing in the 70s . . .
