Long story short, Paul came over my place for a couple hours on Sat before his Detroit gig with Mr. Big....

Nicest guy and one of the all time greats!

He played my amps and guitars and just blew me away with how he made them sound...

Just thought I'd share....Was a very memorable day!

Paul is one of my favorite players. That is beyond awesome.
He seems like a great guy too. The tons of valuable information
that he has on theory and playing is mind boggling.
So cool !!

Was amazing dude...He is a great guy....Very personable, talkative, intelligent, and humble....Also polite which is refreshing to see...Signed stuff for people, said hello, shook hands...Just a cool cat to his fans...Hearing him play and chat about it was priceless...
 
Wow what a cool experience! Years ago in 89 my drummers girl DJ'd at a rock station in Mpls, so we all got meet n greets with Mr Big after a show. Super cool and humble guy for sure. Amazing player!

Damn, so cool, thanks for sharing! He's all the things you mentioned and as you know, also a funny mofo! I can only imagine what will be displayed on the green screen lol. Any idea?

Thanks. He is a funny dude for sure!

He didn't actually use the green screen for any effects. Was just a comfortable place to shoot away from all the big amps....
 
Paul is somewhere at the top of the 10 all-time greatest guitarists ever.
 
He is an amazing precision machine of a guitarist with fantastic phrasing and a great attitude! Awesome how he interacts with everyone and doesn't play rock star. How did you meet him? Very random that he would just show up at someone's place in Detroit.
 
That's pretty fantastic. I'd love to hang out with that guy. What a great player, and seems funny as hell.

Love Paul!! He's amazing and I have always felt his playing is something to aspire to as far as technical ability.
You are a lucky guy to be hanging with a guy who may arguably be a "living legend."

I'm in the middle of a two day binge watching youtube vids and listening to his albums...

LOVE his work... technically just so good, and musically, daring as hell!
 
He's in Dallas next Friday at Gas Monkey Live...I may go but will make a decision after this Friday when I see Yngwie there. I've never been to the venue before. I did see Mr Big back in the late 90's in a bar type venue in Houston...small venue and an arms length away for Paul and Billy when he'd come to that side of the stage. They were excellent.
