Paul Gilbert's OD pedal demo

He has the Vintage Modern 2266c combo amp on. Above the 2266c is a 2061x I believe. To the left of those it looks like a JMD-1 on the bottom and a SLP on top of that.
 
I will say I am a bit curious, still not sure if it will make me get rid of my xotic pedals just yet
 
I'm a little bummed out how much pedals are going for anymore. This one is about $280. I wish they could knock $100 off.
 
I want one if for no other reason than I'll be able to kill Justin Bieber fans - 1 10-mile radius at a time :D
 
Paul seems like he drank a pot of coffee before this one! Cool pedal.
 
Love the sounds out of that pedal. Hey how does Paul use the 2061x? Is he slaving it into the VM? I always seem to notice he's got both together in most videos......
 
Sounds great to me but then again, Paul could play through an anal queen porn stars ass and still make it sound tighter than a teen virgin.

Seems like lots of pedal makers have put out two in one pedals recently and I really like that. For me, setting up one side as a clean boost pushing a distorted amp and then hitting the boost button for leads is what I already do. These types of pedals could free up some space. For me anyway.

That pedals sounds like a winner. And dammit everytime I hear Paul play it makes me have mad gas for a VM. :scared:

Cool pedal! As a side note I cant believe how much those Ibanez PGMFRM1's are.... $7000. They must be on crack.

As far as I know/read Paul is using the Vintage Modern by it self. I think he's used the VM for just about every performance and recording he's done the past few years.
