Hey All,
My bad if this is common and I did not realize it until now. I had an odd situation with Paypal I have never encountered and have had it happen twice in 2 days. I sold my Wizard recently and buyer used business/goods. Paypal received the funds (confirmed with them), but placed a hold on the money until I either wait 3 weeks, or, alternatively, I ship the item, add tracking, and then the item is delivered to the other person. The day after it is delivered they will release the hold which will take 24-72 hours to register. This is triggered by the tracking registered as delivered. Alternatively, if you do not add tracking to an item, it sounds like they will not release funds until the 3 weeks are up, or, alternatively, the buyer clicks something in Paypal saying they have no issues with the item.
I had never seen this before. I then paid a well-known amp builder funds through the same method and Paypal did the same thing to him.
This does not appear to happen with f/f transactions.
I just wanted to give a heads up because Paypal indicated there was no issue with my account (it is 11 years old and never had a single issue, and I have processed many larger transactions on both sides with Paypal--they also indicated my account was perfect and did not trigger this issue when I was on the phone), but it appears to be a pattern for how they are handling those transactions. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
