I’ve been a fan for a long time and enjoyed a lot of their programming but their recent high-profile support of the gay rights “community” now has my viewership down to almost zero. At the same time, their requests for donations has increased drastically and their programs are repeated ad nauseum , much more so than before (a money saving move?)
I’m wondering if this move to support the gay lifestyle in enormous fashion has cost them viewers and in effect, money and donations? I used to support PBS with regular donations but not in the last 3 years.

I couldn't believe it when the other day I was channel hopping and I saw Big Bird sucking on Snuffalupagus's snout. What has this country come to? But in all seriousness, I remember watching NOVA back in the day...a bunch of great shows. Their begging has always been pretty over the top though.

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting, NPR's and PBS's parent, received $525 million from US taxpayers for fiscal 2024.

?
Yep, and there’s the real jab; don’t like their views?…they get your money anyway.

you mean they're not objective journalists?

They don’t go to the Chicago Tribune or NY Times, it’s always The Guardian or some other “newspaper” few have even heard of.

…and when they go to FaceTime with a live interview, it’s apparent that at least 25% are “switches”, man dressed as woman or vice versa…even when the subject is NOT a LGBTQ report.
