Peavey 5150 "top grate/vent"

Hi guys,

I recently bought 5150 that needs a little cosmetic repair to bring it back to its former self.
One of the parts I need is the plastic "top grate/vent" plate that sits on of the amp behind the handle.
Do you have any idea where I am able to find one? UK preferred but will us a US supplier if I have to.
If not - would you know if the plate remains the same on newer models, such as the mk2 or even the 6505?

No idea on a UK supplier, but if all else frails, call peavey directly. I've bought 2 of these from them directly and they are quite reasonably priced. I think I paid 8-12 bucks for one.

a plate from a 25year old Butcher amp is the exact same as the 5150. My guess is this a generic part for all Peaveys

^A lot of their stuff is, yeah. The part was the same for my XXX as it was for my 6505+.

Too bad you aren't in the US. Peavey's service dept. is killer. I've ordered stuff directly from them many times, and they have always been courteous and helpful, and their prices are quite surprisingly low.

And their stock can go WAAAAAAY back to a lot of their older products, and they can cross reference new parts (with different part #'s) that will work with old amp with outdated parts.

Shipping has always been factored into the price of the part, too, so I've never had to pay a seperate shipping fee. And it all come pretty fast.

I've only orderd amp head corners, knobs, pots and vents, though.
