Peavey classic 30 problem

So I have a classic 30 and it doesn't switch over to the crunch channel. The clean sound is what I get when I switch channels. The knobs switch to use the crunch pre and post but the sound remains the same. I ordered a relay so I'll try that first but any other ideas?

I'd try cleaning the Footswitch Jack first..
